Have you ever looked back on your parents or grandparent's wedding pictures and thought to yourself, "Who are these people?!" and "Wow, the trends back then sure were bizarre!". While it's still undetermined what your future offspring will be thinking when they look back at the photos from your big day, here at Knotty Tie Co we think you can never go wrong when you add a personalized touch to your ensemble.
As brides and grooms continue to search year after year for new and memorable ways to personalize their nuptials, we have taken note and are now making it easier than ever to do just that. Match that perfect shade of color and find a unique pattern that highlights your favorite things, all while being environmentally conscious with your apparel choices.
We all look for that beautiful blushing bride but now its time for the groom to show some color! His wedding day is his time to stand out too and there’s no better way to add a pop of color than with his accessories!
Whether a traditional necktie, a dapper bow tie, or just a small addition of a pocket square, at Knotty Tie we enable you to select from over 560 colors to match to your wedding palette. Use our ColorMatch chart to easily find that perfect shade along with any accent colors for your specific wedding theme.
We also include our printed matches to the David's Bridal and Azazie bridesmaid dress array of colors. Knotty Tie Co. is not affiliated with these companies in any way. We print our own textiles and do not use bridal companies fabric nor are we selling their products.
Bridesmaids dresses are a given but another major element that you may be matching your custom wedding accessories to is your wedding invitations. If so, be sure to keep a set of your sample invites on hand to refer to as a color standard throughout the planning process.
PRO TIP: If all else fails and you aren’t able to keep an important color swatch from a vendor or dress company, we recommend stopping by the paint department of your local hardware store and find the closest match to your wedding colors in the form of a paint chip!
Each wedding is as unique as the couple who’s tying the knot so why not incorporate the theme of the day into the pattern on the groomsmen ties! Fun, bold, and personalized patterns are what we specialize in. It’s now easier than ever to create a unique set of groomsmen ties with our customizer tool.
Pick your pattern (look for the grey "customize" button), select your colors, and mix them up until your creation looks just right for your big day! Save as many options as you desire to your wish list and get a second opinion by sharing your wish list creations with your friends and family (...or not!) Our patterns are all organized by wedding themes and styles to make it easy to browse based on the look you have in mind.
When selecting colors with our customization tool you'll realize how handy our ColorMatch chart is. Colors can show very differently from screen to screen so having our entire color library in front of you, printed on our tie fabric, will be a life saver!
If you haven't caught on by now, your wedding day is all about you, so shouldn't it also reflect your core values? Here at Knotty Tie Co we have a greater mission than making super cool neckwear. Did you know that the hands that construct our products are those of highly skilled men and women who have resettled in America as refugees? Coming from countries in Africa and the Middle East, we create opportunities for arriving refugees to work in their trade, in a supportive work environment with flexible schedules, fair wages, and generous benefits. We strive to remove any barriers for them to become economically self-sufficient and culturally assimilated.
We also strive to lead the apparel industry toward a more eco-friendly manufacturing process, better practices in recycling, and greater environmental awareness. All of our garments are printed with minimal water waste and made at our facilities in Denver, Colorado. Our tie fabrics are made from recycled plastics and all of our packaging is compostable or recyclable, made from recycled industrial paper waste and printed using vegetable inks. The factory making our packaging is also wind powered.
You can wear your custom designed Knotty Tie with pride as you walk down the aisle knowing that you have made some pretty great decisions leading up to that moment and we would be honored to be there with you!
The Knotty Tie ColorMatch chart is our 560 colors printed onto the same recycled polyester twill used for our ties, bow ties, and pocket squares.
We also included printed ColorMatch charts of colors that we have matched to David’s Bridal and Azazie bridesmaids dress colors as closely as possible - including all the new colors added each season. Knotty Tie Co. is not affiliated with these companies in any way. We print our own textiles and do not use bridal companies fabric nor are we selling their products.
